Indoor 3D League has become an integral part of Sandhills Archery Club’s winter activities. Enjoy the winter by shooting Indoor League. Sandhills Archery Club offers leagues for all shooters. We offer 3D League, Traditional 3D League and a 300 League. We also have a free Kids 3D League every Friday night which includes free pizza and pop for the kids, sponsored by Don's Car Washes.
MONDAY - 300 League, 7:00pm, Open Shooting 8:30pm-10:00pm
TUESDAY - Traditional League is at 7:00pm and Sign-up 3D League - Group A is at 8:00pm
WEDNESDAY - OPEN SHOOTING, 6:30pm-10:00pm, including non-members ($5.00)
THURSDAY - Sign-up 3D League - Group B is at 7:00pm, Open 3D League 8:30pm
FRIDAY - Kids Night, 6:30pm-8:00pm, Open Shooting 8:00pm - 10:00pm
Any help (setting up targets, taking them down, selling score cards, etc.) you can give to make the league more successful would be greatly appreciated!
League Details
Sign-up League
Sign-up League will be designated for Tuesdays (Group A) and Thursdays (Group B) at 7:00 PM. Archers interested in Sign-up League must sign up for Group A or B before league starts for a specific night and pay for the league up front ($60). There will only be 60 shooters allowed for the Sign-up League group (30 per Group A and 30 for Group B). Only those archers signed up for a group will be allowed to shoot at the designated time. All divisions will be supported (Target, Bowhunter, Traditional, Youth & Cub). Upon payment, 12 score cards will be given to the archer. Only those cards will be used for the archer’s score.
Open League
Thursday at 8:30 PM will be open for 3D League shooting. Archers will pay each night for shooting or those with registered score cards. Scores purchased one at a time will not be counted towards league. This is designed to handle walk-ins and for those with schedule conflicts.
Traditional League
Traditional League will occur on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM. The targets will be setup closer than targets during Sign-up or Open League. Archers must register and pay upfront ($60). The scores in Traditional League will be recorded separately from the other divisions. The scores from Sign-up league when shooting Traditional can be used in the Traditional League since the targets will generally be placed at a longer distance.
Cub League
Cub League will take place during Kid’s Fun Night (Friday). This enables the Cubs to shoot at closer distances. The Cub scores shot in Sign-up and Open league will be recorded for Cub League, since the distances will be longer and more difficult. There is no shooting fee for the Cub League.
Scoring
League scoring will be 0, 5, 8, 10 and 12 (the same as the scoring for 3D shoots). This is done to allow archers to compare their performance during league with 3D shoots.
