Any help (setting up targets, taking them down, selling score cards, etc.) you can give to make the league more successful would be greatly appreciated!
Success!
Indoor 3D League activity has grown over 30% since last year. It has been great to see this growth and we hope to see more next year. However, this growth has led to occasional overcrowding. Some nights have had over 40 shooters and have 4-5 shooters per slot. This causes crowding and shooting sessions to slow down considerably. Traditional archers have also requested a separate night to allow for closer targets and encourage more participation. We are also seeing an increase in Cub participation and continued success with Kid’s Fun Night. A number of changes will be made to improve the 2008 3D League.
Changes
There will be no break after the first 15 target session, this is done to speed up the shooting times so 2 sessions can be done in a single evening.
Scoring
League scoring will be changed to 0, 5, 8, 10 and 12 (the same as the scoring for 3D shoots). This is done to allow archers to compare their performance during league with 3D shoots.

Sign-up League
Sign-up League will be designated for Tuesdays (Group A) and Thursdays (Group B) at 7:00 PM. Archers interested in Sign-up League must sign up for Group A or B before league starts for a specific night and pay for the league up front ($60). There will only be 60 shooters allowed for the Sign-up League group (30 per Group A and 30 for Group B). Only those archers signed up for a group will be allowed to shoot at the designated time. All divisions will be supported (Target, Bowhunter, Traditional, Youth & Cub).
Open League
Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 PM will be open for 3D League shooting. Archers will pay each night for shooting. Scores will be counted towards league. This is designed to handle walk-ins and for those with schedule conflicts.
Traditional League
Traditional League will occur on Monday nights at 7:00 PM. The targets will be setup closer than targets during Sign-up or Open League. Archers will pay each night for shooting. The scores in Traditional League will be recorded separately from the other divisions. The scores from Sign-up and Open league when shooting Traditional can be used in the Traditional League since the targets will generally be placed at a longer distance.
Cub League
Cub League will take place during Kid’s Fun Night (Friday). This enables the Cubs to shoot at closer distances. The Cub scores shot in Sign-up and Open league will be recorded for Cub League, since the distances will be longer and more difficult. There is no shooting fee for the Cub League.
